Southern hospitality with a touch of elegance is how many people describe Laurel Gray Vineyards. This family-owned and operated winery produces only estate-grown French wines. Located in the Swan Creek region of the Yadkin Valley, the Myer’s family has loved and nurtured this land for 10 generations. Laurel Gray’s tasting room and gift shop was once a milking parlor for dairy cattle in the 1930’s. In 2000, Benny and Kim Myers, along with their two children Ashley Laurel and Taylor Gray, undertook the task of restoring original farm buildings while establishing quality driven vineyards.

A beautiful covered back patio and herb garden overlook a spring-fed pond, vineyards, and a new 10,000 case winery that is reminiscent of a large horse stable. Old-timey gliders and rockers beckon you to relax on the tasting room’s spacious front porch, sip some wine, and breathe in the delicious scent of abundant seasonal flowers and Jackson-Perkins Tea Roses.
