Begin trail at Laurel Gray then on to Buck Shoals Vineyards, Shadow Springs (opening Spring 2008) ending trail at Raffaldini Vineyards.
Vineyard #2 - Buck Shoals
From Laurel Gray, return to Windsor Rd., go left, crossing over Hwy 421. Follow Windsor Road 2.7 miles to Buck Shoals Vineyard on your right.
Vineyard #3 - Raffaldini
From Buck Shoals: Go back the way you came, turning left on Windsor Rd. Travel for 2.7 miles on Windsor Rd., crossing back over Hwy 421. Go left at stop sign onto Old Hwy 421 for 1.5 miles. At stop sign, go right on Swan Creek Road for 2.7 miles. Turn left on Clingman Road (name changes to Cedar Forest Rd. up ahead) for 1.25 miles to Groce Road. Turn left. Vineyard is .5 miles up the road on the right. (Note: Groce Rd. is a loop road and intersects with Clingman-Cedar Forest at .5 miles and at 1.25 miles. Take either. You will reach Raffaldini Vineyards both ways. Watch for sign.)
Vineyard #4 - Shadow Springs
Shadow Springs Vineyard is a new vineyard located in Hamptonville, NC. It is owned by Chuck and Jamey Johnson and will be open to the public in May of 2008.
Vineyard #5 - Dobbins Creek
I77 to exit 79, top of ramp turn South on US 21. Go 1 mile South on US 21 and turn Right on Rena Rd. Go 1.7 miles and turn left on Carrie Farm Drive. Go .5 miles and turn right on Vineyard View lane..
If you’re coming from the north, reverse the loop directions above. Begin trail at Raffaldini, Laurel Gray, Buck Shoals ending at Shadow Springs (opening Spring 2008).
